Mr. Tornike Rizhvadze is the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Rebublic of Adjara since July 2018.

Mr. Rizhvadze has been Director at Georgian Energy Development Fund since December 2017 until July 2017. Before joining Georgian Energy Development Fund (GEDF) Mr. Tornike Rijvadze held position of a Deputy Minister at Ministry of Energy of Georgia. Prior to this, Mr.Rijvadze worked as a General Counsel for the one of largest hydro power project development in Georgia. Tornike Rijvadze also held advisory position in Investments and Economic Affairs at Economic Council of Government of Adjara. Previously he has also held management level positions in venture backed start up, intragovernmental and development organizations.
Tornike Rijvadze has graduated from Tbilisi State University with undergraduate degree in Law, earned LLM from the City, University of London, as well as MBA in international Business from Batumi State University. He is also alumni of leadership program for future leaders of Business and Industry at Lehigh University, Florence School of Regulation and he is currently enrolled on PHD program at Kiev National University.
